At the Société historique Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society Annual General Meeting, on June 6, 2009 in the afternoon, Barbara Barclay, President of the Society, introduced our winner, Charlotte Ouimet, grade 5 student at Christmas Park School. Her subject was “Early Permanent Settlers in Beaconsfield and Beaurepaire”.

She received a framed diploma, an autographed copy of the book “Beaconsfield and Beaurepaire: A chronicle of the development of the City of Beaconsfield and the district of Beaurepaire” by Robert L. Baird and Gisèle Hall, a card and a $250 cheque.

WHO WAS ELIGIBLE?

This contest was open to all students of grades 5 and 6 at the elementary level and all students at the high school level, who resided in Beaconsfield or who attended a school in Beaconsfield.
